Tonga Baskets
In a small village near Monze in the Southern province of Zambia are a group of women that weave "Tonga" baskets. The traditional weaving skills are passed down through the generations and each basket is unique.
The baskets are wonderfully creative and are traditionally used for carrying goods, washing and straining but are fast becoming collectable decorative pieces bought by tourists and travellers passing through Zambia.
