Mutale NG'andu

Mutale NG'andu is 35 years old from Kasama in Northern Province of Zambia. He started painting wall hangings 7 years ago when he began a diploma course at the Mindolo Ecumenical Centre in Kitwe in the Copperbelt. Mutale didn't study art at school he spent many years looking for a business opportunity to support himself and his family and took up painting in order to sell his work. He now works in Kabwata and around Lusaka and loves what he does. He is the only person in his family who has any artistic talent and he is very proud of his talent.
