Dark Wooden Hippo

The Kabwata hippos are possibly the best example of their kind in Africa. They make excellent ornaments in childrens bedrooms or make great decorative doorstops or perhaps a superb gift for a hippo lover! This piece was made by one of the craftsmen from Kabwata cultural village. Set within Zambia's capital Lusaka, Kabwata is fast becoming one of Zambia's best outlets for arts and crafts and has become a major stop off for travellers or tourists passing through Lusaka looking to buy tradition African crafts.
